Organ history, specification and price:

The organ was originally build by the British firm Conacher in 1894 for the Duth reformed church in Harrismith. In 1956 it was restored and enlarged by Muller organ builders when Harrismith sold it when they demolished their old church.( The Mixture and trumpet was added.) It was bought by the Reformed church in Vereeniging and was installed and revoiced by Erwin Ferhle in 1966. It was inaugerated on 13 August 1966. When the Reformed church in town center amalgated they sold the organ in order to save it from vandalism. The trumpet was removed but is reserved. It was restored by 2019 and now on the market again. It consists of the following registers.

The pedal is independent and do not borrow from manuals other than the reserved trumpet. Over 1300 pipes Price R 180 000 Delivered, installed and tuned within reasonable distance from Eastern Freestate. Longer distance will incur additional costs. This price is adjustable each year.
